I wanted to take time to show you an update to one of the coolest inexpensive recording products that we’ve seen in a long time at Daddy’s Junky Music. The Zoom R24 Recorder - Interface - Controller - Sampler. Check it out!

The Zoom R24 is a 24 track (8 simultaneous) recording device, with 8 combination XLR and 1/4? inputs on the back panel. It’s been upgraded from the r16 to include a sampler and a drum machine as well! One of the things that makes this super cool is the fact that it’s really like five products in one. Not only can you use it as a stand alone recording device, but it also double as a digital computer interface so if you prefer to record directly to your computer you can do that too. Need something to record at the gig? Disconnect the USB 2.0 interface from your computer and bring it to the show with you. A couple room mics, or a feed of your live mixer and you’ve got a decent recording of your live show. Then, all you have to do is take it back home, connect your USB 2.0 to your computer and you can zip all the information back into the computer to edit in more detail using the included and free Cubase LE4 software. On top of that, it’s also a control surface, a drum machine, and a sampler. In addition, it has 6 channels of phantom power, and it runs on batteries! So, if you’re annoyed with having to point and click on every little button on your monitor with a mouse, you can get your hands on this piece for some real time hands on control of your music. There’s not another product on the market that will give you this kind of versatility all for a paltry $499.99. The Zoom R24 is available in any one of our Daddy’s Junky Music retail stores, and online at www.daddys.com. Don’t forget, Daddy’s loves trades so click here for a free trade quote online. Hi Bob,
I’m intersted in a good deal on a keyboard comparable to the Yamaha YPG635. Primarily, what I like is the the drum beat options that allow split key changing capability. In other words, drum beat is mixed with chord options and key is changed when key on left side of split-keyboard is chosen. I only mention this older version because I played on one recently. I have a Yamaha QY10 MIDI intervace, but it is not working right. So, I’m considering stacking another keyboard along with my synthesizer. Any suggestions?
I also need a plug-in guitar tuner. Maybe we should talk on the phone. Call me at 248-214-3242 at your earliest convenience!
Thanks.
