Portable PA Systems

I’ve been getting a bunch of inquiries lately into portable PA systems, so I thought I would take a minute just to go over a couple options that are currently available at your local Daddy’s Junky Music store or Daddy’s Online. Portable PA systems have become more popular lately, and with the increase in demand, we get an increase in good quality products from the different manufacturers. One of the portable systems that we sell at Daddy’s Junky Music is the Yamaha Stagepas line of portable PA’s. This is our most popular seller, the Stagepas 300. stagepas300_enlargedThe Stagepas 300 is a 8 Channel, (4 mono 2 stereo) 300 watt compact PA system with built in reverb. The mixer portion of this package snaps into the back of one of the speakers and the other speaker has a compartment used for storing your cables and mics. One of the things I really like about this system for the size is that it packs a pretty good punch. The speakers have a nice low response to them so unlike some of the other portable PA systems I’ve heard, this one really sounds nice and full. For $549.99 it’s pretty hard to beat.

If you prefer to carry something with one hand instead of two, then another great option is the Fender Passport Pro 300. Similar in specification, the biggest difference in my opinion is that this system is a little more compact and because it all snaps together it makes transporting it a little easier.0694403000_mdThis units speakers snap onto either side of the system and then you can carry it around by the handle located conveniently on the top of the mixer portion. This systems sells for $699.99. Of course there are many other option in this product category, but here are two of the best.
